Rotary type wet film thickness gauge

It is possible to accurately measure the thickness of wet (undried) coatings on-site.

It is used for measuring wet film thickness. Compared to the comb type, it allows for more precise film thickness management. However, this means that a larger area will be destroyed. The accuracy is ±2.5% + 1μm. Place the main body on the wet paint film and slowly rotate the wheel part by hand to check the areas with and without paint. The largest value with paint on the central wheel will be the wet film thickness.

Wedge-shaped cutting method film thickness gauge

The wedge-shaped cutting method film thickness gauge is used for measuring the thickness of dry coatings.

The feature is that even if the substrate is made of resin, it can be measured, and under certain conditions, the thickness of each layer in a multilayer film can be measured. The coating is cut into a wedge shape, and the scale of the cut part is read using a measuring microscope mounted on the thickness gauge, allowing for the conversion of the thickness. The thickness gauge integrates a dedicated cutter (replaceable), a measuring microscope, and a lighting device necessary for measurement. It is capable of measuring the thickness of substrates other than metals (such as resin substrates) and multilayer films that could not be measured with a digital thickness gauge.

Wet film thickness gauge with calibration certificate in comb shape.

We offer two types with different measurement ranges! Made of stainless steel, so you can use them repeatedly.

This product is a thickness gauge used for measuring wet film thickness. When the blade part is brought into contact with a wet (un-dried) paint film, the boundary between the blade that adheres paint and the blade that does not can be confirmed. The thickness at that boundary is the wet film thickness. Additionally, since it is made of stainless steel, it can be used repeatedly by wiping off the paint after use, and we offer S and M models with different measurement ranges. 【Features】 ■ Used for measuring wet film thickness ■ Made of stainless steel, allowing for repeated use by wiping off paint after use ■ Available in S and M models with different measurement ranges ■ The calibration certificate (in English) provided at the time of manufacture specifies the measured values of the "gaps" for each blade *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Rotary wet film thickness gauge with anti-slip processing

A rich lineup of measurement ranges! Compared to comb shapes, it enables more accurate film thickness management.

This product is a thickness gauge used for measuring wet film thickness. To prevent slipping during measurement, the outer ring has been treated with a non-slip finish (serrated processing). The accuracy is ±2.5% + 1μm, allowing for more precise thickness management compared to comb-type gauges. Please choose your measurement range from a wide lineup. 【Features】 ■ Used for measuring wet film thickness ■ Allows for more precise thickness management compared to comb-type gauges ■ Accuracy is ±2.5% + 1μm ■ The outer ring has a non-slip finish (serrated processing) to prevent slipping during measurement ■ A wide range of measurement options available *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Comb-shaped wet film thickness gauge

The thickness of the wet coating film can be easily measured.

It is used for measuring wet film thickness. By contacting the wet (un-dried) coating, the film thickness can be measured. Since it is made of stainless steel, it can be used repeatedly by wiping off the paint after use. There are three sizes available: S 20-370μm, M 25-2000μm, and L 50-10,000μm. There is also one size of aluminum comb-shaped wet film thickness gauge available, which measures 25-2,000μm.

Rotary-type wet film thickness gauge

It is possible to accurately measure the film thickness of wet (undried) coatings on-site.

It is used for measuring wet film thickness. Compared to a comb shape, it allows for more accurate film thickness management. However, this means that a larger area will be destroyed. The accuracy is ±5μm. Place the main body on the wet paint film and hold the wheel part with your hand, slowly rotating it to see the areas with and without paint. The largest number with paint on the central wheel indicates the wet film thickness. Please choose the measurement range from the rich lineup available.
